Here at in the visual resources department, we look at images all day long so we know how to find the best images out there. So to help you our dear patrons we have started compiling a list of our favorite links on del.icio.us to the greatest image resources the internet has to offer.

Some of the  links are to historic imagery, such as the George Eatman House collection at Kodak, or the Library of Congress Flickr stream.  Others like Image After are built to be design tools, filled with stock imagery and textures for manipulation.  One of my personal favorite links is the site FFFFound.  Users post pictures with minimal metadata and the system recomends new images you might like based on your connection to others images.  FFFFound is a great place to find inspiration from designer and artists working currently and retro ads and art posted by users.  Some of the images are so striking, the lack of information can be a little sad.

A link to our bookmarks is on the right hand side of this page. as well as a short sampling of our newest bookmarks.  Take a look.
